| Details: Transportation Relationship Manager Carnival Cruise Lines, one of South Florida's elite organizations and a member of the S&P 500, is currently seeking a Transportation Relationship Manager in our Travel Services department, based out of our Miami, Florida, headquarters. The primary responsibilities of this position are to initiate and participate in contract bids and negotiations, set service standards and inspect supplier services to ensure the standards are met. They also negotiate ground transportation and meet & greet services. Primary Responsibilities: Acts as a liaison with the various transportation companies and meet & greet service providers in obtaining and negotiating contracts; ensuring desirable terms and rates, obtains competitive rates and conditions, operational procedures, business/legal practices are met and distributes contracts and addendums to appropriate parties. Communicates with the appropriate channels, the list of providers selected for RFP proposals, copies appropriate channels on all RFP’s sent and when awarded. Ensures that operational requirements/costs are also communicated and are aligned with what is required of contract. Start contract negotiations 6 months prior to expiration of current contract; new ventures or deployment; and executes contract 3 months prior. Negotiates transportation services for Fly Aweigh, Crew and Corporate travel. Identifies and negotiates contract changes based on feedback received from management and operating departments. Creates RFP’s that clearly communicate and have defined requirements to all suppliers using templates and financial data supported by our finance team.
